Our Philosophy
Report
During a woman's life, she will deal with many unique issues, from puberty to menopause and beyond. We are committed to a sensitive, personal approach to every patient's problem, taking the time to listen and get to know our patients. The best path to wellness is by keeping our patients educated and central in making their own healthcare decisions.
Gynecologic Services
Report
We are proud to provide comprehensive gynecologic services at El Camino Women's Medical Group. The majority of our treatments, procedures, and other services are listed below. If you don't see your service of interest on the list, please call our office at (650) 396-8110 or send an email to moc.n1632645460emowo1632645460nimac1632645460le@of1632645460ni1632645460.
Obstetric Services
Report
For women who desire a vaginal delivery, our office has a 10% cesarean section rate, well below the national average of 30%. Cesarean sections, when necessary, are an important part of obstetric practice, often preserving maternal and infant health, and sometimes saving lives. However, if a vaginal delivery is possible and safe for both mother and baby, our doctors support our patients and choose interventions and practices to that end.
Primary Care for Women
Report
There are many medical issues that affect women as they go from adolesence to the post-menopause, some of which are best treated by an internist or a family physician. For our patients with medical histories beyond our scope of care and for all patients aged 50 or older, we recommend you have a separate primary care physician.
