In addition to accepting all indemnity (traditional) insurances and payments from non participating PPOs, we participate in the following plans. We gladly accept new patients to our growing family. We are a true family practice treating patients of all ages. Dr Pohlhaus bought the practice in 1992 from Dr. Frank Veltre (who retired in 1999), which he had worked in for over thirty years.

Laser Dentistry

Dr. Pohlhaus has been performing laser dentistry since 2004. Our office has a Fotona LightWalker AT dental laser. This versatile device performs a host of both tooth and soft tissue procedures, often times with no need for numbing. It contains both an ER:Yag and Nd:Yag laser. This laser lacks the heat and vibration of the dental drill so many fillings can be done without getting a needle.
Dental Implants

We offer a full range of dental implant services at The Baltimore Center for Laser Dentistry. Everything from the extraction, bone graft, implant placement, and implant restoration is kept in house. This continuity of care allows for a more seamless and less expensive implant process. As with all dental procedures referral may be needed for very complex cases.
