This collection of musicians, singers, techies, friends, and occasional combatants includes some real characters ~ they would be the first to admit it! Of course, you may have another reason for being here. Seeking info about some music heard recently, shared, streamed, or on a playlist?
Searching for info about a particular band [Bobby Comstock Band, Headwind, Strange Brew, Farmhouse Garage, etc.] or about a particular song, recording artist or musician, past or current?Sorry ~ no imbedded search function. Check 'Bandography' on the ABOUT page; SONG INFO; pics and artwork in PHOTO/ART GALLERY; and wade through the many tidbits ~ both relevant and obscure ~ in our often quoted (if not outright plagiarized!)

I grew up in the golden era of rock and pop. Like Firesign Theatre said, you got to start young if you're gonna stick it out - and I did. At age 5, I wore out Chuck Berry's aging vinyl 45 of "Johnny B. Goode". 15 years later I was his bass player on the concert stage - as were many others.
The Steward 'his-story' : began singing publicly at church in "The Cherub Choir" and wrote his first song at age 5, an entirely self taught musician, never had a music lesson, taught himself to play left-handed on an upside-down guitar, began performing professionally at age 15.

Somebody may be pulling somebody's leg here, but: Hey, check out the bluegrass haymakin' song. Yer guy Chubbie is playing on it. So go smoke a jay, pardner! Some of the absolute best live tracks I ever played in the Comstock band occurred with him behind the trap set, all of us benefitting from his impeccable timing, superb touch of stick upon drumhead, ride cymbal and high hat.
What's New
Report
Entirely new, it is based musically on a groove that fell out of a $39 guitar while travelling the rails westbound at 90 mph on The Super Chief. Don't wanna give away the subject or title, but we're getting impatient if not outright pissed, and maybe it's about time for another revolution. At least it was, during the season of making hay, without which we would have no cheeseburger, no fries and no shake - among other things.
