Hunt Nursing and Rehabilitation Center has been part of the Danvers, MA community for more than 40 years, providing short-term rehabilitation and long-term skilled nursing care on Boston's north shore and throughout Essex County.

Situated on a hilltop in a residential Danvers neighborhood, Hunt is easily accessible to major local highways and area hospitals including Lahey Medical Center Peabody, North Shore Medical Center in Salem, and Beverly Hospital.Our patient-centered rehabilitation and long-term care provides compassionate skilled nursing care on Boston's north shore close to home or loved ones in Beverly, Danvers, Lynn, Peabody, Salem, and surrounding towns.

We understand that the need for post-acute care is often unplanned, and at Hunt we offer admissions seven days a week for the smoothest possible transition between care settings. A personal care assessment determines the appropriate level of care and establishes preliminary goals.

Our dedicated core team includes nurses and nursing assistants, full time nurse practitioner, rehabilitation therapists, activities staff, a dietitian, consulting physicians, and our Medical Director.These specialists, along with our entire staff, work together to provide a place that feels like home.

Hunt Nursing and Rehabilitation Center's on-site rehabilitation team includes physical, occupational, and speech therapists, and specially trained therapy assistants, all dedicated to helping you regain strength, mobility, and independence, and achieve the best possible outcome. Our experienced team of rehab professionals is here seven days a week, as ordered by your physician.

At Hunt Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, we start planning for discharge upon admission for short-term rehabilitation, creating personalized treatment plans that implement physician's orders to meet personal goals. Our 24-hour skilled nursing teams provide the care and attention needed to maximize recovery, and a family meeting is held within 72 hours of admission to review expectations and address any concerns.
