Hi! I'm Michelle Karel-Ward, Professor of Music and Director of Moscow Music Academy. Since establishing the studio in 1993, I've been passionate about providing strong musical education for students, right at the beginning of their journey.
As a graduate of the University of Idaho's Hampton School of Music, I set out to multiply my passion of how music should be taught -- by teachers who are talented, qualified, and who share my same philosophy of music education.With the help of my assistant director, Emma Karel-Ward, our goal is that every student receives individual music instruction, tailored to their age, personality, and learning style.

We are happy to continue offering both Online Lessons as well as On-Site Lessons for those that prefer lessons in person. Reach out to us today for scheduling and enrollment info! At Moscow Music Academy, we believe that the best way to learn music is with one-one, private instruction. Each lesson is tailored individually, for the way the student learns best.

That's it! Our online lessons are a great option for those not ready to resume or start up one-on-one lessons on-site. Not currently one of our students? 1 COMPUTER/TABLET - If you have a computer or a tablet, please use this for the lesson so that the student can have a better view. A phone can work but it will be difficult for the student to hear or see the teacher.

We are continuing to offer both On-site and Online 1-on-1 music lessons during this time - the choice is yours. On-site lessons are held in a clean, safe, social distance setting! Most activities are being shut down, but we can't take music away. We are still enrolling students in lessons. Reach out to us today!
