Woodhaven Swim & Tennis Club
The idea for Woodhaven Swim Club was conceived in 1957 by Larry Prine, Jim Parks, Henry Brining and Glen Noffsinger. These four men were soon joined by many friends and neighbors who were excited about the idea of a neighborhood pool. Woodhaven Swim Club, Inc. joined the Southern Ohio Swim League (SSA) in 2018.

Previously, we belonged to the Greater Dayton Swimming Association (GDSA). We had championship teams in 1962, 1963, and 1964; placed second in swimming competition in 1961, 1977, 1978, and 1979. In 1979 our diving team placed first in the league. In 1980, 1981, 1982, and 1983 we were swimming and diving champions.

Swim Team
Report
If your children enjoy swimming, we would love to have them on the Woodhaven Swim Team. It is a great opportunity for kids (ages 4-18) to learn valuable swimming skills, while being part of a team. We have approximately 100 swimmers on the Woodhaven Swim Team each summer. We swim in the Southern Swim League made up of 12 clubs from the Greater Dayton area.
2020 Swim Social Distancing Adjustments
Report
Add some type of marker on the ground to show the 6 and unders where to sit to allow them to remain 6 feet apart. For six and unders there should be 4 kids with one coach so a total of eight kids at a time. Four kids should proceed to the diving well and sit on the marked spots while the other four kids should sit on the marked spots in the shallow end.
