What species can I catch on your charters?

We target redfish, snook, tarpon, trout, grouper, snapper, cobia, and sharks depending on season and location.

Do you provide fishing gear and bait?

Yes, all rods, reels, tackle, and bait are included in charter rates.

Are licenses required for fishing?

We provide valid fishing licenses for all passengers on board.

What should I bring on a charter?

Bring sunscreen, polarized sunglasses, and a cooler for your catch. We recommend non-slip shoes and weather-appropriate clothing.

Do you offer multi-day fishing packages?

Yes, we can arrange extended trips to the Florida Keys and Homosassa with customized itineraries.

What is your cancellation policy?

We require 48-hour notice for cancellations to receive a full refund.

We had a blast! He has a great boat and gear! He kept us on fish all morning quickly baiting our hooks. We were eating our snapper all week. It was delicious.

Great experience! Highly recommend, he seems to go above and beyond for his clients to provide a quality service. My nephews had never fished before and he catered the trip how I asked to get them hooked up and to enjoy catching as many fish as we can. The tides were pretty dead and he found a way to keep our lines busy and fish being reeled up in the boat. Caught a shark, mackerel, trout, lady fish and some catfish. We had a great time!

Booked a last minute half day trip with Capt. Jason and couldn't have asked for a better experience. After a storm front came through early in the day, fish were tough to find at first. Capt. Jason worked hard to get us on fish and once we found them they kept rolling in. We had a great time out on the boat, lot of fish and a lot of laughs. Definitely will be going back out! Thanks again!

Top notch all the way around .. the experience we got with Capt Jason was like no other. The communication was easy, and he put us on Exactly the type of fish we wanted. Had a great time fishing with Caption Jason! I've been on two charters with him and both times caught way more than we expected (plus he got me on my first tarpon!) He also has a great fun positive attitude and has everyone on the boat laughing the whole time. I'd recommend him to anyone. We've done inshore fishing with him (Snook, trout, redfish, tarpon)

Best fishing charter experience i've ever had. The captain is extremely knowlagable about the area and doesn't mind sharing his tips and tactics for finding the fish. He took me(38), father(60), and my son(4) and was able to cater to each persons skill level and experience. Oh and not to mention we caught a ton of trout, snook, & mangrove snapper. If your trying to decide between charters, all I can say is if you like catching fish, you'll have a blast with Chasing Tails Charters!
