Placement Testing

Placement tests determine what level you can start your coursework at in specific subjects. Most incoming students have to take the Math, Reading, and Writing tests; some students must take Chemistry; students who are non-native English speakers must take the AESL placement test. In some cases, however, you can skip the placement tests.

New Students who have applied to Bucks, please follow these steps to begin your Bucks experience. Students who previously took a credit class at Bucks and are returning after a break (one year or longer). Students who wish to transfer Bucks courses to their primary institution should be advised by their own college or university.
