AeroDynamic Aviation began flight training in San Jose, California, in 1960. We offer flight training to all levels of pilots in the San Francisco Bay Area. Our flight school expanded in recent years to include locations in Salinas and Monterey. Our team of knowledgeable instructors create a comfortable, friendly environment for the people they train.

Our flight lesson gift certificates make excellent presents for anyone who has ever dreamed of flying, whether that is yourself or someone you know. Our San Jose Private/Sport Pilot ground school occurs periodically throughout the year, typically on Saturday afternoons. This 10-week course covers the ACS topics for the Private or Sport Pilot Practical Test (checkride).

Ground School Classes

We offer a new style of Ground School - one designed to prepare you for the knowledge and judgment required to be a safe, competent pilot capable of making informed decisions. Our class differs from others in that our focus is more on the knowledge to pass the checkride (the final flight test), rather than just pass the written test.
Sport Pilot License

This newest pilot's license, introduced only a few years ago, allows you to become a Sport Pilot in approximately two-thirds of the time and cost of a Private Pilot license. It also qualifies you to fly UAVs with most companies. Our Evektor SportStar Light Sport Airplanes (LSA) are ready and willing to help you become a Sport Pilot.
