For nearly a decade, our well trained staff has been performing Real Estate inspections in all corners of Maryland, Virginia and the District of Columbia (DC), often in connection with the sale of a home. Everyday Home Inspections are recognized by most professional organizations, banks, insurers and government agencies.

Our inspectors perform thorough industry leading inspections and deliver custom professional reports to our clients. There are some varieties of mold that contain toxic compounds (mycotoxins). More serious than most allergenic properties is the ability of mold to trigger episodes in persons that already have asthma, a serious respiratory disease.

Home Inspections
Report
A home inspection is a limited, non-invasive examination of the condition of a home, often in connection with the sale of that home. Home inspections are usually conducted by a home inspector who has the training and certifications to perform such inspections. The inspector prepares and delivers to the client a written report of findings.
New Home Inspections
Report
The pre-delivery inspection, which generally applies to newly built homes, is a real estate term that means the buyer has the option (or requirement, depending upon how the real estate contract is written) to inspect the property prior to closing or settlement. These inspections generally take place up to a week before a closing, and they generally allow buyers the first opportunity to inspect their new home.
Standards of Practice
Report
At Everyday Home inspections we provide our clients important and current information needed to make informed decisions when purchasing a home. Our professionally written reports have been accepted in thousands of real estate transactions by Real Estate buyers, sellers and Realtors. Inspect readily accessible, visually observable, installed systems and components included in the home, unless stated in the report.
Other types of Inspections
Report
Structural inspections report on the foundation and supporting elements of a home. When performing a structure inspection, the home inspector will look for a variety of distress indications that may result in repair or further evaluation recommendations. The home inspector will usually recommend that a structural engineer be engaged if trouble is found.
Radon In The Home
Report
Radon mitigation is any process used to reduce radon gas concentrations in the breathing zones of occupied buildings, or radon from water supplies. Radon is a significant contributor to environmental radioactivity. Mitigation of radon in the air is accomplished through ventilation, either collected below a concrete floor slab or a membrane on the ground, or by increasing the air changes per hour in the building.
