Working with the community instead of just asking the community to support us has been, and always will be, a hallmark of Caffe Amouri. Modeled after 18th century coffeehouses in London, where for a penny, the intelligentsia of the day would gather to discuss politics, business, science and other weighty matters.

Caffe Amouri has been named the VIRGINIA GREEN RESTAURANT OF THE YEAR, Town of Vienna GREEN BUSINESS OF THE YEAR and various other Sustainability Awards throughout the years. We recycle our coffee grounds back to local gardeners for use in their gardens and compost piles. Worms thank us! In addition, our customers have found incredibly creative uses for our coffee green bean burlap sacks.

In May of 2018, The Caffe Amouri Experience Coffee Lab and Education Center opened its doors. This accomplishment was the fulfillment of a dream of owner Michael Amouri, who believes that Education and Knowledge benefit all - his business, the community, customers, and staff. Caffe Amouri has built its reputation as the DC area's top coffeehouse through rigorous training and education.
