Youth Ice Hockey
Our core youth hockey programs serve ages 4-18 with co-ed teams across all skill levels. Following USA Hockey guidelines, we emphasize skill development over competition through regular season games and tournaments. Players practice at The Rink Exchange while participating in regional matches against Oregon and Washington teams.
Girls Hockey Program
Specialized girls hockey initiatives include co-ed team participation and girls-specific clinics. Our program supports dual rostering opportunities with regional teams while preparing athletes for USA Hockey regional camps. We've placed players in Western Regional High Performance Camps and Pacific District Development Camps.
Special Needs Hockey
Our Special Hockey program accommodates players over age five with developmental disabilities. Through weekly practices emphasizing physical skills and personal growth, we develop characteristics that benefit participants both on and off the ice. The season runs October-February with structured skill development sessions.
Introductory Hockey Clinics
Intro to Hockey classes at The Rink Exchange teach basic skating, puck handling, and equipment use for ages 4-13. These small-group sessions provide foundational skills before joining our full-season programs, with successful participants transitioning to our Eugene Jr. Generals teams.
Tournament Participation
We organize 2-3 tournaments annually including the Ice Cup for 10U/12U divisions. Our teams regularly compete regionally with opportunities for out-of-town travel that create team bonding experiences. Tournament participation helps develop competitive skills while building lifelong hockey memories.
