This season is a rule-change year with USA Hockey. We recommend coaches, parents and players review what's new. A few items you'll notice in our game play. Minor penalty minutes will vary based on the length of the periods. For example, periods 12 minutes or less would have 1:00 penalty time. More than 12 minutes but less than 17 minutes would have 1:30 penalty time, and periods more than 17 minutes would have 2:00 penalty time.

Each week during the season, LAHA recognizes players for exhibiting positive behaviors on and off the ice and setting an example for others to follow. This season LAHA players will be recognized for their academic excellence by having a 3.50 GPA or higher. Email us your athlete's report card so we can celebrate their accomplishment.

The LAHA Board is excited to announce the coaches for the 2020-2021 season. We have several returning coaches and a few new faces. We are always looking to add more coaches to our ranks, especially with the younger age groups.

Season Registration
Report
LAHA is a non-profit organization and as such we work hard to make sure our program provides both quality coaching and player development while also remaining affordable. This season, we will continue to offer scholarships as well as an extended payment plan for families who need the extra help. In order to register for the upcoming season, you will need to have a 2021-2022 USA Hockey number for each player.

The 60-minute skills clinic sessions will be held once per month from October through February. Who are newer to the sport and are looking for additional instruction to help close the skills gap with their peers.
Try Hockey for Free
Report
Every year, USA Hockey sponsors opportunities for kids to try hockey for free. This is a great opportunity for your child to experience what it is like to get geared up, get out on the ice, and learn a few hockey basics. All gear is provided for the event at no charge and each participant receives some goodies to take home with them.
