Even though our eatery is currently on hiatus, our BAKERY is in full swing. You can still enjoy all of our baked goods at MARKET ON THE PORCH @ TWO CLAY BIRDS. This is an OPEN-AIR MARKET based 100% on the HONOR SYSTEM. Open Thursday through Sunday, we offer a full range of fresh sourdough breads, cinnamon rolls, cobblers, in-house roasted coffee beans, locally-sourced produce, small-batch pickles and preserves, handmade soaps and more.
We are also taking SPECIAL ORDERS at this time. To place a special order for pickup, please text or call 512-914-9406. THANK Y'ALL! Keep looking for the good, and we'll see you on the porch! Step through the screen door and into community. As Hico's original bakery and farm-style kitchen, we serve what we love - upscale Southern comfort food with a smile.

We are directly on Second Street. We're on your right if you're coming from Stephenville. We're on your left if you're coming from Fort Worth, Dallas, Iredell, Hamilton, or Austin. Our building is mint green with a large deck out front and a 700 gallon tin water tank next to it. Our market is guarded by a 300 pound wooden bear.

About Hico, Texas
Report
Planning a trip to Hico should be on your bucket list. Hico is a small town in Central Texas that is home to about 1,300 folks. We have a rich rural history, with cotton and the railroad being central to our past, as well as a vibrant Western culture. Hico has a reputation for being a wonderful place to shop for antiques, but we also have a strong food scene, recreational activities, and abundant overnight accommodations.
