What is Acupuncture
Report
Acupuncture works on the vast network of electro-magnetic fields and pathways of the human body. Your acupuncturist inserts very thin needles through the skin. By stimulating these "acu-points, " found at specific areas along well-defined pathways of the body, physiological effects occur, which stimulate the body's natural healing abilities.
Chinese Herbs
Report
Incorporating the use of herbs and dietary supplements into a treatment generally strengthens the effectiveness. 2 The Point Acupuncture uses only the finest Chinese herbal formulas as well as high grade, whole-food based dietary supplements. Chinese herbology is the science of combining plants or other substances for healing purposes.
Phases of Care
Report
Acupuncture treatments work cumulatively. The number of visits you need depends on the intensity and origin of your imbalance! As your condition improves, the frequency of treatments decreases. Most conditions take time to manifest, so restoring your body back to optimum health will be a process. In the first phase of care, our main goal is to reduce any unwanted symptoms that you are experiencing.
