Heartland Hockey Camp is the only self-contained, privately-owned ice hockey camp in the world - located in beautiful Brainerd Lakes, Minnesota. Heartland is owned and operated by Steve Jensen, a former US Olympian and NHL pro who played with the Minnesota North Stars and the Los Angeles Kings. Since 1985, we have dedicated our lives to providing hockey players with one of the most unique training facilities in the world.
Our 164-acre camp features a state-of-the-art ice arena, full-sized roller rink, tennis courts, mini-golf, 52 dormitory lodging units, spacious weight-room, hockey pro shop, restaurant and 7,600 feet of private lakeshore property - among other amenities. Mite Camps

Our Mite Skills Camp is for novice-average skill levels. The Skills program will feature a strong emphasis on power skating, power shooting, creative stick handling and basic passing drills. Our Mite Select Camp is for average-above average skill levels. Our Select Camps are designed to provide opportunities for players who have a very strong desire to reach a higher level of competition and skill development.
Goalie Camps

The Goalie Camp will be directed by Joe Herda, Jon Hendrickson, Dylan Hvambsal, Nate Crawford & Brendan Price. Below are the main focuses for on-ice, classroom, and off ice training. Functional strength: Not just lifting weights to lift weights. Every lift we will do will have the purpose helping goaltenders stop more pucks and get from point A to point B faster, and more controlled.
Adult Camps

The Heartland Adult Camp is offered to players 18 years of age and older. Players of all skill levels are welcome into our program. We offer three skill groups to choose from: Novice, Intermediate, and Advanced. Each group is limited to 30 skaters and two goalies. All adult campers will have the option of seven hours of ice time each day!
