Signature Talent is a full service entertainment service that provides professional DJs, talented musicians and beautiful event lighting for weddings and other special events. It was formed in 2011 by award winning DJ and musician Dave Grimm. Prior to 2011 Dave spent 22 years performing and booking literally thousands of performances a year to service the Washington, DC harbor cruise industry as well as clubs and private events.

Our philosophy at Signature Talent is that each client should be carefully matched to a specific DJ based on the DJs areas of expertise. An amazing house DJ might not be able to function well as an MC, and a talented wedding entertainer probably will not be familiar with underground tracks. DJs are different and matching the correct DJ to the client makes for a successful event.

Originally from Cuernavaca, Morelos, Mexico, Ruben performed an intense 7-day a week schedule on the Spirt of Washington harbor cruise from 2000 to 2007. Performing multiple shows daily on the ship to a widely diverse clientele gave him invaluable experience as a disc jockey. He has since performed at more than a dozen bars and clubs in the DC metro area, including Mat, Cafe Citron, Guarapo, and Chi-Cha Lounge.
