For beginner we begin with the basic building blocks, paddling, push up & pop up techniques, as well as balancing, wave riding, ocean awareness, wave breaks, ocean conditions, safety in and out of the water & wave etiquette.

You are welcome to use your own equipment but if needed a foam surfboard and wetsuit can be provided provided. Fulcrum Surf also offers great deals on boards & suits deals for our students. Beginner lessons can be a great refresher if you have surfed a few times without any formal instruction. Our intermediate lessons are perfect if you can stand up consistently and are ready to progress to turning, using the rip, catching unbroken waves etc.
