I've been joining LBGT couples for many years, and was offering commitment ceremonies back in the dark days before some of our lawmakers dragged themselves out of the stone age to get over it and let people love who they love!

If a couple is getting married in the state of Rhode Island they must both go together to a town hall to apply for a license. Once it is issued it is valid for 90 days. You will be able to get married immediately after obtaining your license. Make sure you contact the town hall where you plan to go in order to verify their requirements and hours they are open.
