Pine Acres Club

Pine Acres is conveniently located in Wethersfield, Connecticut. We offer a variety of recreational summer activities for the whole family. 3 Pools: A 25 meter pool with diving bay, an infant wading pool and a beginners pool. 8 Tennis Courts: 5 clay courts, 3 har-tru courts. Full basketball court - Sand volleyball - Tetherball - Onsite snack bar - gas grill available to members - Changing rooms and showers.

Our Junior Interclub Tennis competes against 10 other local teams in the Wes Clark Summer League. Participants are members only, age 8-17, who are able to serve and keep score (or with coach approval). Everyone will have an opportunity to play. Practices every Monday & Wednesday at 1-3pm (unless a match is taking place and team will be notified).

Pine Acres members can enjoy three pools for all ages and abilities, from toddlers to adults. Swim lessons, taught by certified Red Cross instructors, are available for pre-schoolers to teens. Lessons are grouped by student ability, not age. Pine Acres Bull Dogs Swim Team is a member of the CAAPSC (Capital Area Association of Private Swim Clubs) league.

We are very enthusiastic about the upcoming season and welcome the challenges it will bring. We welcome swimmers of all abilities and want the beginner to feel as comfortable as the most advanced swimmer. Our primary goal as a coaching staff is to make this swim season fun and enjoyable for all our swimmers by providing a relaxed and team-oriented atmosphere.

Familiarize children between the ages of 6 months and approximately 3 years with the water and teach swimming readiness skills. Provide safety information for parents and teach techniques parents can use to orient their children to the water. Space is limited, so if your child will miss more than 3 days, we request you do not sign up for that session.
