We are private practice therapists who work with children, teens, parents, and families to reduce conflict in the home and at school, improve communication, and rebuild the bonds between family members. We help our clients resolve a wide range of emotional and behavioral problems by providing services in a way that is compassionate, supportive, and non-judgmental.

Our goal is to help you build on your already existing strengths to find the right solutions for you and your family. If you're looking for extra support during a challenging situation, or you realize it's time to move in a new direction, we would like to help you achieve your goals. We work with a variety of individual and family problems, including child and teen behavior problems, parenting issues, and marital distress.

Children & Teens
Report
The childhood years are challenging for parents and children alike. Children go through many developmental stages as they transform from small children to young adults. We work with children, teens, and their families as they navigate through these different stages of life. It can be a big help for children and teenagers to talk to a therapist who understands what they're going through.
Parenting Support
Report
Children bring wonder into our lives, and watching them grow up is a rewarding yet challenging experience. Young children look to their parents and other adults for guidance, safety, opportunity, and security. If we are consistently there for our children, they will learn to trust us and themselves.
Couples Counseling
Report
One of the deepest of all human needs is to love and be loved by an intimate partner. Yet many couples find that the emotional bond they once shared has become strained, and they are stuck in a cycle of pain, loneliness, and disconnection and nothing seems to make it better.

Research has shown that couples often wait years after the problems begin before they seek help from a therapist, even though couples therapy is proven effective and achieves lasting results. Our approach with couples is supportive, non-judgmental, and non-blaming. We work to help you improve communication with your partner, reduce conflict, and restore the trust you once shared.
Graduate Students
Report
The California Board of Behavioral Sciences (BBS) encourages marriage and family therapy trainees and associates to receive personal psychotherapy. The BBS allows each MFT, LCSW, and LPCC trainee or associate to triple count up to 100 hours of personal therapy toward the 3,000 hours of total clinical experience required for licensure.
Meet Rich
Report
I believe that in order for people to grow intellectually, physically, and emotionally, we must be grounded by a sense of who we are as individuals and who we would like to be with others. Being able to connect and maintain healthy, lasting relationships with others provides the psychological opportunity to feel competent and confident in ourselves.
