PFC Natural Grocery & Deli has served Kalamazoo since 1970 as a community-owned natural grocery store and deli. Founded during a period of grassroots cooperation, we prioritize locally sourced organic products, bulk foods, and wellness items while operating a year-round farmers market. Our 3,800 community owners guide decisions through democratic governance, ensuring alignment with our Ends statement focused on equity and resilience. As an anti-racist cooperative, we actively work to dismantle systemic oppression through initiatives like our Anti-Racism Transformation Team. Our 53-year history reflects a commitment to sustainable practices, including waste reduction through bulk refill options and partnerships with regional farmers.The Co-op expanded to our current 507 Harrison Street location in 2011 after 37 years on Burdick Street, maintaining daily operations from 8am-8pm. We offer specialty departments including fresh produce, refrigerated goods, frozen foods, and a bakery with gluten-free options. Our deli features housemade sandwiches, soups, and salads made with organic ingredients. Through programs like Change for Change and Kiva loans, we support local economic development while maintaining accessibility for all shoppers regardless of ownership status.

Pretty sad I do go hungry sometimes but hope she needed it more Than me
Really do love this grocery sucks . If you can resolve this by being like hey she forgot to give you the receipt that'd be sweet. Do you need a way to identify it is me who she accidentally stole 40 bucks from?? Like by my pic? Or need a card number?? Ha

Incredible selection at affordable prices (they accept bridge!!) and thoughtful staff. This grocery store and the connected coffee shop are both visibly commited to the community.

Awkward location & many vagrants in the area. The grocery itself is friendly, good product selection generally, including bulk products. Good customer service.
