Every steel story has its foundation, and for Eastern Metal Works it was a day in 1978, when Ray Weiner Sr. bolted a Miller Big 40 welder to the bed of a Ford pickup and set out to earn a name for himself through hard work, honesty and a passion for steel. Six years later, with two welders, a saw and a Bridgeport milling machine, EMW was officially born.

Eastern Metal Works takes the safety of its employees seriously. Every member of our staff has undergone an OSHA ten hour safety course. In addition, each of our shop and worksite foremen has completed a thirty hour OSHA training course in Construction Safety and Health. We encourage all of our employees to be active participants in our never ending effort to keep the worksite safe.
