I have been vaccinated and have now resumed teaching in person to those who would like that option. Currently I have been conducting them from my home in Duluth. Feel free to reach out if you are interested in lessons either in person or virtual. I enjoy helping my students reach their personal goals and encourage them to be the best musician they can be.

Learning to play a musical instrument is a great source of fulfillment. I enjoy helping my students realize the intrinsic value and rewards that can be gained through the dedication and practice it takes to become an accomplished guitarist. Performing music is a joy and is quite addicting! I have been a member of the University of Minnesota Duluth's music faculty since 1999.

I am happy to give instruction on both acoustic and electric guitars. The choice is up to the student. If you're just starting out and aren't sure what guitar is best for you I'll be happy to advise you. Picking out a guitar is not a 'one size fits all' deal. There are many websites devoted to the topic.
