AxessPointe received funding from the Bureau of Primary Health Care to establish the first federally qualified health center in Summit County. Dr. Bill Keck, the director of the Akron City Health Department at the time, had previously tried to start an FQHC in Akron, but there were not any federal funds available and he was discouraged from applying.

Not only do we provide general medical care and advice for adults and children, but we also offer dental, behavioral health, full pharmacy services, and much more. We believe you should have access to care when you need it most, which is why we offer same-day visits and after-hours medical attention.

AxessPointe has four convenient locations throughout Northeast Ohio. Our priority is to get our patients the care they need, without the burden of financial stress or traveling to multiple offices. Our locations have doctors who accept Medicaid, and services including medical and dental care, behavioral health, and even a pharmacy.

At AxessPointe, we believe that behavioral health is an important factor in the overall health and wellness of our patients. We have an integrated approach to care and use targeted screening tools during a patient's medical visit to see if any behavioral issues are present.
