Programs
The Associate in Applied Science degree program is designed for students who plan to seek employment based upon the competencies and skills attained through a specific program of study. Automotive Manufacturing, Computer Information Science, General Business, Industrial Electronics Technology, and Office Administration programs are offered in traditional, hybrid, and/or online format.
Adult Education
The Adult Education (AE) and General Educational Development (GED) Testing Division assists Alabamians in achieving the basic skills and the credentials they need to be productive workers, family members, and citizens. The Adult Education Program provides free basic skills instruction in reading, writing, math, English language competency, GED Test preparation.
Workforce Education
In the AUT program at Central Alabama Community College, we train students, some of whom are the first members of their families to receive a college education, to be qualified for jobs as multicraft technicians.
AUT graduates meet the needs of area industry in industrial automation and troubleshooting, which includes hydraulics and pneumatics, programmable logic controllers, robotics, and sensor technology; all of which help keep Alabama's industry competitive in a world market and pro-viding students with highly paid, dependable jobs.

Dual Enrollment
This policy allows eligible high school students to enroll in college classes concurrently with high school classes, and to receive both high school and college credit where appropriate. High school students should contact their high school counselor or the Admission's Office at CACC for enrollment forms.
