Paradise Upholstery & Canvas opened its doors in 2001, after owner Pete Zimmerman completed a restoration project on a 1972 Century that had been in his family for many years and found that he enjoyed the work. He purchased a used commercial sewing machine and set up a table in his garage, and began making boat covers for his friends.
In 2005, Paradise built and moved into the 4,800 square foot building that is currently its home. At Paradise Upholstery & Canvas, high quality AND outstanding customer service is the mission. Materials are ordered and stocked in a manner that ensures we are able to cut your entire cover from the same dye lot, so there are no color variations across the cover. Fabric joinery includes taping seams together before stitching, which helps to seal seams and stitch lines. Anywhere that two fabric edges are sewn together (seams and darts), these seams are also top-stitched, providing extra strength, durability and aesthetics.

Keep dirt, leaves, and other debris from accumulating on the fabric surface. Washing down with a garden hose on a bright, sunny day is recommended about once a month in warm weather. In colder months, use a soft bristle brush to sweep away debris. Do not scrub hard! Cover can be left on the boat for ease of cleaning.
