The college's Human Services Department has spearheaded a new way to provide support to our students. Through a partnership with Community Connections of Franklin County, the college now has Student Peer Advocates who can provide assistance to fellow students with a range of challenges: mental health, addiction, health care, financial problems, housing, food, health insurance, and more.
These Peer Advocates are current North Country students who have been trained to provide resources and referrals for those in need. North Country Community College is pleased to announce the new members of its Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society for the Fall 2021 semester. Peggy Lynn and Dan Berggren will take center stage this week on Zoom in a special edition of North Country Live.
