Mariposa Well Drilling

Mariposa Youth Basketball was begun in 2008 in the foothill town of Mariposa just outside Yosemite National Park. MYBL serves young athletes between third and sixth grade and is open to boys and girls. The league is run by volunteers under the direction of the MYBL board.

The league offers one clinic style practice run by former MYBL players and current High School and Middle School players who serve as coaches and mentors for the children they serve.All games are played on Saturdays at Mariposa Counth High School and are officiated and coached by the same High School volunteers.

The Mariposa Youth Basketball League is a non-profit, volunteer organization hoping to provide a quality basketball experience to the youth of Mariposa County. MYBL is a competitive league with an emphasis on good sportsmanship, skill development, and learning the game of basketball. Fees: Registration fees are $45 per player when registered prior to our evaluation day, $50 after.

Games begin at time noted, please arrive a minimum of 15 minutes early so that players can properly warm up and we do not end up waiting for latecomers. Winning and losing is not the focus of this league, however we do feel that teaching our players to compete is important, therefore we do keep score of all games.
