Our high-quality education comes to life by our dedicated teachers in the classroom. Coming Fall 2022 we will be uniting all students grades PreK-12th at the 95-acre Lancaster campus.

The campuses of what is present-day Lancaster Mennonite were founded as alternatives to public schools where students could be taught in a Christ-centered environment. This movement led to the founding of Locust Grove Mennonite School in 1939 and New Danville Mennonite School in 1940.
The Lancaster Conference of the Mennonite Church took a bit more time to meet a bigger challenge: the development of a Christian high school on the site of the former Yeates School in 1942.Whereas each of the Mennonite schools initially served mainly Mennonite students, persons from many denominations increasingly became part of the student body.

We inspire students with an excellent, well-rounded PreK-12th grade education in a nurturing and Christ-centered environment. At LM, students learn how to live and serve beyond themselves so they can engage in work that will have a lasting impact on the Church and society. We welcome families to connect with us, we are setting up Private In-Person Tours or Virtual Tours and meetings! Students are welcome to enter Lancaster Mennonite School at any grade level from PreK through grade 12 for educational excellence in a caring Christian environment. We embrace students with a wide range of interests, including students with learning difficulties as well as Merit Scholars.

Athletics

Our outstanding interscholastic athletic program develops students socially, spiritually, emotionally and mentally while building the school community. We offer a wide range of indoor and outdoor sports at our campuses. Having won a number of championships in various sports, LM is known for their outstanding Blazer athletic program.
