When you need or want a beautiful, resilient natural stone granite should be your choice. Granite resists heat and scratches and when properly sealed will not stain for years to come. Granite color and grain can vary, so visit CCC to pick out your next countertop. The polish on a granite countertop with normal wear and tear will not fade.
Marble

A beautiful traditional choice that is best in a medium traffic area, like bathrooms. It is also often used for fireplace tops and surfaces. It offers a wide range of natural color and is very resistant to heat. It is not as stain resistant or as tough as granite. Marble gives you more of the "Old South" or "Antebellum" look than granite.

Proper sealing of natural stones will prevent any staining that could occur due to the honed finish. Sealing, traditionally was done on an annual basis. Today's stones may only need to be sealed every 3-5 years. Check with your CCC professionals for sealing advice. Sealing is something that can be easily done by you.
Sinks

Chances are you will need a sink and / or a faucet when we install your countertops. As a convenience for our customers, we work closely with IPT Sink in Alpharetta to help "finish" your countertops.
