The Corset Girls were created to explore feminine qualities in women, lingerie, paint styles, fabrics and embellishments. Installation photos of my custom art created for designer's clients always brings a smile to my face! This collection includes a multitude of techniques, the simplest being a charcoal drawing created in an open studio with a live model.

These whimsical illustrations are sure to bring a smile to your face. The expressions are priceless. Although youthful in style, these paintings are strong in composition and execution. All of these pieces were created with inks and watercolors along with resist techniques using salt and alcohol. These works will be featured in children's books!
Mermaids

I've always enjoyed creating figurative works. Never did I entertain the idea of painting mermaids until I moved near the water. It is very entertaining to me that nudes offend some people but if you add a mermaid tail to them it becomes acceptable and even desirable. This collection includes some "Precious Metals" mermaids as well as some simply painted with acrylics or mixed media.

Precious Metals

My Precious Metals Paintings incorporate gold, silver and copper leaf, charcoal, inks, metallic paints and powders and are coated with a two-part epoxy resin for a glass-like finish. I came up with this technique myself and absolutely love what transpires across my surface. The contrast between matte black charcoal and shiny gold, silver or copper leaf is amazing!
