Our approach to research is based on standard practices of the scientific method and a conservation ethic with a healthy respect for the natural world in which we live. By maintaining a resource focus and a ecological approach to the study of wild populations of animals and plants, we can answer basic questions about the world that we live in and provide real solutions to land management issues.
The key to our success has been using innovative methods and exceptional logistics to collect the data we report on. Using our knowledge of Southwest habitats and connection to wildlife that lives in them, we can answer the questions that land managers need to develop strategies for land use that conserves the resource while being part of the ecological system.
