Toad Hall Childrens Center

We aim to provide the highest quality of childcare with a stimulating educational program. We deliver a play-based curriculum where the children develop creativity, self confidence and curiosity that is both teacher and child led. Activities are made to be fun where the children can explore, experiment and make friends in an empowering environment.

The Creative Curriculum for preschool features exploration and discovery as a way of learning, enabling children to develop confidence, creativity, and critical thinking skills. The Creative Curriculum for Preschool is based on 38 objectives for development and learning.

These objectives are fully aligned with the Head Start Child Development and Early Learning Framework and State Early Learning Standards, and integrated into each and every one of the comprehensive collection of resources that makes up the curriculum.The objectives cover 10 areas of development and learning, including broad developmental areas, content areas, and English language acquisition.

Lunch - We provide a complete lunch for children aged one and above that are enrolled in our food program. Each hot meal includes a vegetable, fruit, and milk. All meals are made without tree nuts and the ingredients are seasonal. Monthly menu's are displayed at the center. Our lunches follow the nutritional guidelines and portion sizes suggested by the USDA MyPlate program.

Each teacher is responsible for a small group of children and form a special bond with these children and their families. The teachers in the room cater for each child's own individual needs on a daily basis, ensuring a consistent routine to match that of home. Before your child joins us we like to find out all about them.
