My order was delivered quickly and hot, ordered shrimp and broc and it was perfect , fresh vegs plenty of great size shrimp i alway order this from Dai kims in maryland and ill actually say the sauce was better than where im from, the beef lo mein was great but id have to agree the egg rolls didnt taste like im use to and they did seem alittle small, other than that id have to say id order the main dishes anytime from them when im up here, thumbs up fast delivery

Food was old and greesy, heavy and unrecognizable to say the least $51 took 55min to delivery across the street 1/4 block at most! Horrible and never responded to my request for a refund or anything!

Terrible wanna be Chinese food..Soggy chicken, dry noodles..They try to pack fried rice in the dish so you get very little of what you actually ordered and it's not even good food. Also took 2hrs for delivery 4miles away.

Just wanted an egg roll and 15 minutes later im handed a tiny piece that looks and taste like a spring roll and when i say something she insists that its an egg roll even though it is clearly chicken!

I felt bad calling so close to their closing time, and said if they're not taking orders I completely understand... but they said sure, no problem, and had delivery within 30 minutes. They also gave a clear idea of what to expect during delivery, i.e. they called right before they got to the hotel, described the car they were driving, and said exactly where they'd be waiting. My husband and I came on vacation. I over heard the front desk guy mention Chinese and my ears perked up. He told me about Golden City III, so I ordered and.....OMG!!! THE BEST CHINESE FOOD EVER!!!! I got sweet and sour chicken, pork fried rice, lo mein & beef/broccoli!!!

Great take out place. Our order placed for 3 people take out was ready pretty fast.
Overall food quality was good but salt was a bit extra.

I normally don't like fried rice but this one was really good. The spicy beef had a nice combination of sweet, savory, and spicy. Great to find a good Chinese place that delivers locally

Food was good but these people are so crazy about Covid they have barricaded the main door and you have to order takeout over a baby monitor zip tied to the wall and they will give you your food through a plywood box mounted in the doorway so they don’t have to contact you. Only place on the beach still loosing their minds over Covid.

I'm sorry I spent money here. It seems like they went as cheap as possibly to maximize profits. I expect they know that we tourists will try them at least once, and they must not be looking for repeat business.

We are at our condo on VB and ordered from here for the first time. What a wonderful surprise to have our meals delivered in a timely manner by a delivery man who was so nice!! We all had Wonton Soup, Egg Rolls and Crab Rangoons. The soup was AMAZING! The best wonton we have had in a very long time. The filling in the wontons is very very good and the broth was tasty! I had the House Special Pancit Noodles DELICIOUS and a ton of food. Hubby got the Orange Chicken. He loved it! Our friend got the Shrimp and Garlic Sauce. BIG SHRIMP and a ton of them!!

We ordered take out from this restaurant on Christmas Day, while at VA Beach on vacation. We decided to pick it up at their window, instead of having it delivered, so it was hot as possible when we got back to our resort. Food was excellent, prices were very reasonable and portions were good. Very nice selection of vegetarian and vegan items.

Solid takeout Chinese. Really enjoyed the General Tso tofu. Only downside was sketchy dudes camped out at entrance.

Every dish we got was delicious, and they are not expensive and huge servings and excellent Covid takeaway precautions. If I could give them a higher rating than 5 I would.

One of the BEST veg lo mein in the vb area!!!! So good! Ate the whole quart by MYSELF!!! I've also had the beef chow fun and it was sooooo good!!! My bf usually gets the beef and broccoli and he likes that a lot too!

So over priced and terrible service!! I paid $20 for plain rice and noodles and when i asked for extra duck sauce the lady gave me two and when i asked her again she gave me one. It wasn't busy at all i was the only person picking up. It was terribly disappointing because the rice was so dry and it was just a waste of money and a bad experience.

This is the place to go if you want to eat out safely during the Covid pandemic! There's a box where you can pick up your food where the door to enter normally is. The woman working the box was wearing a mask indoors even though customers can't enter the restaurant. I feel more safe getting my food here than at the upper end hotel restaurant I ate at earlier in the week.

In a pinch this was a great cheap dinner option. Both the shrimp fried rice and the seseme chicken were cooked well.

I haven't had Chinese in a while, I found this place on Yelp and it was walking distance from my Hotel. They have a take out window, we walked up and ordered, we waited about 10 minutes for our food and it was still hot when we got back to the Hotel room. The food was good, not the best, but it satisfied me.

The Gen Tso's Chix is like Peking pork (normally found only in a real Chinese restaurant). Oh, so good! Also had the pork lo mein, pork fried rice, beef w/ broccoli, Chix wings, egg drop soup, and hot & sour soup.

You won't regret getting dinner from here!

Ordered as takeout, didnt want to miss the beach concert and it turned out perfect.
Ordered a ton of food and loved everything but one dish so I feel that's pretty good.

I love hot and sour soup but the flavors in this one was just not quite right.
So overall we loved the food and would absolutely order from them again for all our Chinese food needs :)

Slow Service. I thought this would be a quick in and experience but I was vastly disappointed.

Interior was very aged and ran down -- vintage looking. The feel of an aged mom-and-pop shop. Food was pleasntly good and the serviving sizes for the cost were very accomdating. If your on the oceanfront and looking for a quick chinease meal I'm sure you will be statsified with Golden City but certainly not blown away.
