In 1984 I met Joyce through my roomate and I found out she has her own sewing business and I thought that was really neat. I want to do that and I did apprentice work for her to learn more about it. I decided to go to Pima College and get my Associates Degree in Fashion Design and Dress Making. I really enjoyed the classes they offered at Pima College.
I worked on costumes in the Drama Dept as for a work study. I graduated 1991 got married and had 2 daughters. I worked part time for Sandy's Sew Shop after I graduated. She had to close her business due to health issues and at the same time I met Gael Stirler who started Chivalry Sports and introduced me to the Society for Creative Anachronism which is SCA for short.

Sewing by Penny is located south of Sierra Vista on Highway 92 drive towards Palominas look for milemarker #332 and that is where Highway 92 goes to 2 lane from 4 lane. Look for Stump Canyon Road on the right then make a right turn there. About 1 quarter mile down you will see Lower Stump Canyon Road DO NOT TURN THERE.

I will work to finish your project quickly - my turn-around time is THREE WEEKS for most items. In other words - I must have the dress at a MINIMUM of a 21 days prior the date that you need the dress to be finished.
