What is Hybrid Home Education
Report
Public-school-at-home: Alternative learning programs offered by public schools. Students may meet in a classroom once a week, take courses online, or be supervised by a public-school teacher while doing lessons at home. Many people mistakenly call this educational model "homeschooling" because the children spend all or part of their week at home.

Academy Northwest offers a Parent-Directed Home Education extension program that blends the best of Christian private school and home education, best reflected in the diagram below. Teacher Consultants work with parents and students to formulate a plan for accomplishing academic goals. Teacher Consultants and parents work together to customize an individualized combination of resources and methods that match the learning style of the student.
Christian Worldview

One of our high school graduation requirements is the Biblical Worldview course. Moreover, a Christian worldview is incorporated throughout the instruction because we believe that God is the source of truth, and that the Bible is his revelation of himself, creation, mankind, sin, and redemption. By definition, a worldview is a framework from which we view reality and make sense of life and the world and man's relationship to God and the world.

Board of Directors

ANW is governed by an appointed Board of Directors and is not affiliated with any particular church or denomination. Our Board members do not receive any compensation and are not employed by the school in any way. Each Board member agrees with the ANW Statement of Faith and school philosophy and is committed to upholding the school's mission and bylaws.
