Dr. Renee Smith was the first female OBGYN physician in Wise County and has been practicing here since 2003. She is Board Certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Dr. Smth has delivered thousands of babies and performed hundreds of gynecologic surgeries. Her goal is to provide compassionate, empathetic and contemporary care to her female patients, ranging in age from pre-teen to post-menopausal.

Our office is conveniently located on Hwy 51 south of the hospital with appointment times available Monday through Friday from 9:00 am - noon as well as Tuesday and Thursday from 1:30 pm - 5:00 pm.

At Wise OBGYN we offer the full range of Obstetric care, including preconception counseling. That includes optimizing maternal health prior to conception, fertility planning and starting vitamins before getting pregnant. Once pregnancy is diagnosed, we start with an ultrasound to confirm and initiate prenatal care.
Gynecology

Gynecology is the care of women through their reproductive life. It encompasses routine screening like pap smears for cervical cancer, breast exams and mammograms for breast cancer screening, vaccination for prevention of disease and management of menses. Abnormal pap smears can be triaged with colposcopy and when needed treated with Loop Electrical Excision Procedure.
