In person classes have resumed and you can see the schedules here. Class sizes are 4-6 students MAX & MASKS are required. Face shields available upon request. All hard surfaces, machines and tools are cleaned after each class. Your Safety is our Priority! We also have ONLINE Sewing & Illustration classes for those who are able to join us from their homes.

Sewing Camps
Report
Camps are day-long or multi-day sewing events for YOU or your children. During sewing camp, students have the opportunity to spend a longer time sewing, while acquiring a deeper skill level. We make our camps FUN by offering an open, flexible and supportive environment, allowing students to choose the project they work on, within the scope of the camp day(s) or week.
Fashion Studies
Report
Fashion Studies is an multi-faceted program for aspiring Fashion Students, from Middle School through Adult. In this semester long program, students learn the fundamentals of Fashion Design while being taught & mentored by industry professionals. Through this program, students build a strong foundation of fashion centered skills while building their portfolio(s).
Classes
Report
Most of our classes at THE SEWING ROOM follow a Sewing Studio format. Sewing Studio time is WEEKLY time in the workshop with an expert who will guide you through a project of your choice. With the exception of Private Lessons & our Machine Basics classes, which are a shorter duration, each month-long session allows students to get enough hours of sewing time and instruction to complete a project.

We carry a variety of fabrics including some of the Rifle Paper Co. Florals from Cotton & Steel. You can find printed and solid cottons, rayons, woolens and silks on our shelves in addition to a small selection of knits. You can find, view and purchase our fabrics and most of the patterns we carry in our Etsy Shop.
Group Events
Report
Our Sewing for Teams package is perfect for team building, office parties or staff appreciation. Through Sewing and/or Fashion activities, participants will exit their daily routine and enter a creative space. Activities and projects are geared toward creative thinking and teamwork. Sewing together is a fantastic and productive way to spend with friends, your birthday or baby/wedding shower.
