This psychologist is great for ADHD kids and family therapy. I took off one star because his insurance policy (billing/reibursement) is awful, but if you can affod him- well worth the $

I had one appointment with Dr. Green. It wasn't unpleasant, he seems perfectly capable and experienced. However, the care he provides (by his own admission) isn't traditional psychotherapy. In the hour we spent on the phone, a quarter of it focused on getting payment sorted out and the rest was him talking me through a set of physical and mental exercises. There was also a plug for his book in there.

Very little talking on my part, and multiple interruptions when I did try getting into my history. That's not what I was looking for, but I said I would try things his way and set a second appointment

I think it has to do with his unusual style, which targets change, meaning outcomes you want. But he totally has changed the way we relate to each other. And he also helped my son last spring improve his grades in the final marking period. I think it had to do with teaching him confidence. He is very patient, but doesnt coddle you and tells it like it is-- a refreshing change from other people weve seen, who dont say very
