Telepsychiatry visits are conducted via end-to-end encrypted video conferencing software that is HIPAA compliant.

Communications are confidential and generally no information will be released without your consent. Exceptions: By law, I am required to report suspected child or elder abuse, domestic violence, and take action when a patient is considered to be a danger to themselves or to others. Dr. Lin is not a provider for any insurance companies and provides "out-of-network", fee-for-service care.

If you are taking a medication that is not a good "match" for your genes, it could increase your chances of unwanted side effects, or you could be taking a medication that is not as effective for you.
