We have made staying at Cabin in the Glen in early December a family tradition over the past several years. It has become a welcome retreat from the hustle and bustle of the holidays that our young children enjoy as much as we do. We all look forward to a family weekend playing games, roasting marshmallows, hiking in the wintery woods, and just being together without interruption.

The organisation I worked for at the time (2019) rented this place out. They had a bedbug infestation. We were told several months later that the bedbug situation had been handled. We rented out several cabins and the big lodge once again, and there were still bedbugs. Woke up with them in my pants (eeek.) I had to throw away everything I brought with me. You couldn’t pay me to go back to this place. How do you not notice literally all of your cabins that we rented have a massive bedbug infestation? They aren’t even connected, yet have managed to make a home in each cabin. Clearly the bedbugs

I remember camp Akita from 5th or 6th grade nelsonville York camping trip. It was so amazing funny this place popped on my head after almost 20 years out of no where. I wonder if they still take the kids here every year once they hit that grade. It was a fond experience i remember it was beautiful. Lots of activities the atff was amazing the food was awesome and the gift shop was nice. I'd love to take my kids here for a weekend im going to have to check into it!

Great place to hold your event. The main Lodge is spacious and has a beautiful deck overlooking the lake with many chairs to kick back and relax. There is a small cafe kitchen area for use within the main lodge and the kitchen staff can deliver your groups snacks there to you. The smaller cabins are clean and roomy. The lake is great for swimming, has diving and slides . They offer resident summer camp for kids in grades 5-12. They serve the campers three meals a day plus snack and the kitchen staff can handle all special dietary needs.

Wouldn't send my dog there. Sad when you live in a community that suppose to Welcome people, this is a tourists town. An to fire someone because they dont fit in. I'm pretty sure thats discrimination. My friend may not be from here but at least she not snotty fake religious person that treats others different. This town makes me sick.

We have rented the main cabin several times. It has two bedrooms, one with a queen and the other with two bunks with twins beds. We put two mattresses on the floor and made it a queen. The great room is large with a fireplace, stocked wood and comfortable furniture. The bathroom is modern and has a stall shower. The kitchen is modern and fully stocked; for the most part. There is a screened-in porch weather permitting. Central heat makes it very usable over the chilly months. Hiking is abundant.
It's a cool place. Check it out. It is only 40 miles from Columbus.

This Camp is truly an amazing place. They offer different weeks based on age and a variety of opportunities when you get there.
The coolest part is they make staff and campers turn off their cell phones while at camp. Why? To enjoy each other's company and live in the moment besides wondering what's going on at home! Great for kids going into grades 3-12. With volunteer weeks for grades 10-12!
