The 27-hole championship Steele Canyon Golf Club was personally designed by Gary Player with respect and appreciation for the natural beauty of the terrain. Each of the three nines offers a distinct environment and type of play for all levels of golfers.
The rugged Canyon Course's dramatic shot making challenges and breathtaking elevations are balanced by the Ranch Course's winding fairways through the fields of a working ranch, and the Vineyard course's beautiful woodlands, streams and working vineyards stretching along the valley floor.

Steele Canyon is a Gary Player Designed 27-Hole facility that has received Golf Digest's 4 1/2 Star Rating as well as being recognized as a "Best Places to Play" destination in San Diego. Our dedicated staff specializes in corporate outings, charity events, and monthly leagues. We are able to accommodate group sizes anywhere from 16 to 216 golfers at a time with our 27-Hole championship course.

How to Play It: Plenty of room left to avoid bunkers; favor the left side of the green with your second shot. Long and elegant Par 5. The fairway narrows closer to the green which is severely undulated from back to front and surrounded on the left side by deep bunkers. Before you start wondering how you're going to hit it over the lake, look down to the left at the actual 5th green and use about 2 clubs less than the yardage says.
The Ranch Course

From the blue tee, anything on the short grass is good; left side of the fairway shortens hole considerably. Steele Canyon's signature hole. Elevated tee boxes are over 175 feet above the fairway and makes for one of the most memorable golf holes in San Diego County. Straight away par 4. Prevailing wind blows from left to right.
