Speech Therapy

A speech therapist helps childen and adults learn basic communication skills including language and the ability to say words. They also help those without the ability to speak, develop their own voice using low tech or high communication devices helping them to engage in the world around them. We depend on the local pediatricians to help identify those children who do not seem to be developing normally.

I cannot thank Elizabeth and Janet enough for their time and support with re-training my tongue! Offering Online Therapy with Telehealth

Asheville Speech Associates on Haywood Road is now providing Speech and Occupational therapy via telehealth. Adult clients and parents of children in therapy are pleased with this process. We are taking new clients now. If your child usually receives speech or occupational therapy at school and you feel he needs additional therapy, we are here to help.
