Our founder and winemaker, Victor Palencia has been a part of the Washington wine scene for over 20 years. At the early age of 13, he began following his father, David Palencia and older brothers as they tended to neighboring vineyards. These humble upbringings have given Victor a real sense of Washington terroir and has been the foundation of a lifelong passion for wine.

The vineyards chosen to craft these great wines were purposefully selected by our winemaker for the grower's heroic viticulture practices, which include high elevation, steep slopes, and rocky terrain. This may all sound like a recipe for disaster, but we invite you to taste the difference.

Washington's crowned jewel Red Mountain AVA delivers flavors and a tannin profile that tantalize the palate. The structure and powerful flavors of these grapes are sought out by some of the most distinguished of wineries. This AVA is nestled in the eastern corner of the Yakima Valley AVA. The unique soil composition, aspect, elevation and growing degree days helped gain this beautiful area its AVA status.
