It is with mixed emotions that we must announce that Amaya McCarthy, NP, has made the decision to leave our practice and return to emergency room nursing. We are sad because we are losing an amazing provider that has fully invested herself emotionally with the care of her patients, but at the same time we are both happy and supportive that she is returning to her true calling as a nurse in the ER.

Dr. Fina graduated with Honors in 2002 from Baylor University with a B.S. in Biology. She then went on to medical school at Nova Southeastern where she received her Doctorate of Osteopathic Medicine. With a passion to take care of military families she enlisted in the US Army and completed her Pediatric residency at Winn Army Community Hospital.

If you are a Medicaid or Medi-Share member you will need to acquire your vaccinations from the Health Department unless as Medi-Share members you wish to self pay for the vaccines. Children enrolled in the Florida KidCare Program, including MediKids and the Healthy Kids Program are exceptions as these programs will pay for vaccines in our office.
