Shelton Home Inspections, Inc. is proud to be a family-owned and operated home, termite and insurance inspection company. President and co-owner Stephen Shelton founded the company along with his wife and business partner Christine Shelton, in 2004.

He's been inspecting homes as a termite inspector for over 40 years and was co-owner and certified operator of Exterm-A-Tech, Inc. (a full-service termite and pest control company) which was sold in March of 2017.Back in 2004, Stephen saw the opportunity to add home and insurance inspections to his service portfolio and therefore created Shelton Home Inspections, Inc.

A 4 Point Inspection is an insurance underwriting report used by the underwriter to determine the cost and insurability of the four main components of the home including plumbing, electrical, HVAC and roofing system. Many insurance companies are requiring a new 4 point if shopping for new insurance, changing carriers, or if you haven't had one in awhile.

We want you to feel confident with the home you have chosen, so we feel it is our responsibility to provide you all the information you need to make an educated decision. When you order a full home inspection, you'll receive a detailed inspection report, including all of the "systems and components" such as doors, windows, living areas, outlets, appliances, roofing, plumbing, pool decks, structural, HVAC, electrical, and everything in between.

Shelton Home Inspections, Inc has 18 years of building inspection experience (and 40 years of termite inspections). We can not only inspect homes but commercial structures as well.
