Trail Rides

Questions
What age requirements exist for trail rides?
The Coal Bucket Ride requires riders aged 7+, Moonville Tunnel Ride requires ages 9+. Minors must be accompanied by adults.
What should I wear for a horseback ride?
Closed-toe shoes and long pants recommended. Helmets provided. Dress appropriately for weather conditions.
Can I book group rides?
Groups of 10+ receive special pricing. Reservations required for parties larger than 6 riders.
Are photography sessions allowed?
Guests may photograph personal rides. Commercial photography requires prior approval.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept major credit cards, cash, and checks for trail ride bookings and event reservations.

We took the two hour lookout trail and had an amazing time! Danielle was our tour guide and she made sure we felt safe and comfortable the whole time checking back on everyone in our group. Now this is not for the light of heart trail this goes through some pretty dense forest and mud and inclines and declines keep that in mind and hold on to your horse! They all follow each other in a line so it was easy enough,you dont have to try and get your horse to go or anything they already know the trail and will follow the horse in front of them. We went through some beautiful trees and forest and

This was such a great time. Our guide, Olivia, was awesome. My wife is terrified of heights and Olivia coached her throughout the rude and encouraged her and she has a blast. Even in the parts that was close to edges, she was able to go on because of the guide. We loved it and we will be back. They treat the guests like family and it was such a great time. Highly recommend booking a ride here!

I wanted to introduce my grand kids 9 and 11 to horseback riding. I choose Uncle Bucks because they had the 2 hour Tunnel ride. One hour goes buy just too fast. I was impressed on how well the horses appeared, our guides seemed well aware of each horses personality, the area around the barn was clean. They applied fly shields to all the mounts. The kids enjoyed the ride, they liked the fact they rode through woods and said they never were in woods like that before. I put my tip for the guides in my payment on line, hide sight I wish I gave it personally so I hope you guys was given the tip that

Corinne was awesome as our guide. She was patient, caring and attentive. I had a 7 year old and it was her first ride. Corinne made sure to keep an eye on her which I appreciated. I will definitely go back and if possible request Corinne be our guide again. Love you Corinne!

We loved our ride with Uncle Bucks! Having had my wedding reception here 6 years ago (which I also suggest), we hadn't been on a ride. Now finally we have! The trail had the most beautiful scenery. Our group had several first time riders and our guide put everyone at ease throughout the ride. The horses were awesome!

Had an amazing experience! Ive ridden about 5 times in my life. Im 53 and was looking for something a little more challenging. This was the perfect placeand I rode an amazing horse, Titan. Our guide Olivia was a lot of fun and very helpful. She threw in a lot of fun facts along the way. The trail to Moonville Tunnel (2.5 hours) was breathtaking. Im definitely coming back and bringing my wife and two young teenage daughters.
