Went there yesterday during the weekend of skiing to look at fireplaces. We wanted to put in our new home. The owner rude and disinterested we asked if we can ask him questions and he said not really. He went on to say that he was in a hurry and he didnt have time for us. He told us to go find a place closer to home that he cant help us. I am pretty sure he doesnt care about reviews but we might have Bought something else.

Very helpful and knowledgeable, definitely know their products and all aspects of installation etc. I would highly recommend them if you're looking for any type of wood heat.

Forget these guys! All they want to do is sell their merchandise. They only cherry pick the easy one-story houses with one fireplace. "Sorry, we don't have time" once they find out there may be anything complicated. As a result, I would never do business with them for anything. Call Ashes to Ashes out of Windham if you want excellent service.

I've used The Tinderbox for our routine chimney sweep for the past two years. They are professional, fast and do a great job. I also had an issue with our chimney's damper which they not only fixed temporarily (for free) but also advised me on the best way(s) to correct the issue permanently by giving me two different options with thorough explanations and no hard sell. My advice to potential customers is book your appointment early because they get really busy in Sept/Oct/Nov.
