Captain Dave is a rare Florida native who has grown up fishing and boating these very waters. He has a passion for all things Tampa Bay. In 2016, Capt. Dave and his wife Nancy were inspired to start Latitudes Tours while on vacation in 2016. After taking a boat tour, they knew they wanted to share their passion for wildlife and the Ruskin area with others.
First mate Melissa is a multi-state certified naturalist who will delight you with her extensive knowledge - it's a one-of-a-kind guided tour. You'll see and hear about the unique marine life and animals of Florida's Gulf Coast while learning a bit of history along the way! Our Kayak Tours are led by our lifeguard, CPR, and first aid certified kayak guide, Hailey.

Safety is our number one concern. Due to weather unpredictability, the captain or guide reserves the right to cancel a trip due to weather up to the last minute. While there are plenty of dolphins and manatees in the area, they are wildlife, so there is no guarantee we will see them on every trip. Our capacity is 24 passengers plus crew.
