We are the teachers of Keys of Joy! Studio, and we're glad you're here. We use piano methods developed by Simply Music and Inner Musician, and these unique, playing-based approaches represent breakthroughs in music education. We are the only teachers in the area who can teach you to play 30 to 50 songs in your first year.
From ages 5 to 95, our students are playing it all - Blues, Jazz, Classical, Pop, and Accompaniments, from their very first lessons. They improvise, compose their own music, and achieve results that are a quantum leap beyond what is possible with traditional lessons. This impressive growth places our students well on the way to making the piano a companion for a lifetime.

Free Introductory Session

We present Free Introductory Sessions on various Monday and Friday evenings and they are a great way to learn about our piano methods which accomplish results which are a quantum leap beyond what is usually possible. These sessions are designed to give you all the facts you need to make the best decision about piano lessons for you or your family.

Play a Story - Ages 5 to 7 Created by Lyndel Kennedy of Inner Musician, Play a Story uses storytelling, animated books and movie clips to inspire our youngest students to improvise and play their own music spontaneously. Travelling through a storybook world, your children will learn to listen, feel and literally 'play the story' across the whole piano.
Jam Nights and Open Mic Nights

We offer two types of performance experiences for our students, and both take place in our beautiful Piano Lounge. Our House Bands rehearse on Friday evenings and these rehearsals are open to all students and parents who would like to play in the bands, and to our piano students who would like to sharpen their piano chops with a band and vocalists.
